Kellen saw little to no action in his rookie year with the Vikings. So, Mond completed only two of the three passes he attempted for five yards during his rookie season, which saw him try just three passes.

Kellen’s mother, Leticia Mond, is the CFO at CCC Group, Inc. She has been working at the company since July 2021.

CCC Group, Inc is a nationally-ranked heavy industrial general contractor. 

According to her LinkedIn profile, Leticia started her career at Zachry Construction Corporation. She worked as a Financial reporting manager between April 1998 and December 2006. 

She was responsible for planning and performance management with Audit and Tax tasks for eight years. Leticia was promoted to director of strategic planning in the same company in January 2007. She worked in this position for six years.

Kellen’s mother was promoted to Vice President and Treasurer in April 2013 and stayed in the company for another six years and ten months.

The Texas native left Zachry Construction Corporation, a privately-owned construction and materials company, after more than twenty-one years of service.

She took the role of Board Member at Texas Heritage Bank in October 2019 and stills holds the same position. Likewise, she has also been working as Business Consultant at Mond Consulting since April 2020.

Mrs. Mond graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science – BS, Accounting in 1991.

Kellen’s father, Kevin Mond, began training him when he was two.

He began teaching the young Mond to throw a Nerf football in the house. Kevin claims that they threw it every single day. That’s how he explains all the damage to the blinds in the house.

Mr. Mond did not care about the damages as he wanted to see his son at the NFL. Finally, two decades later, his dream came true when the Vikings drafted him after a great college career.

Kevin, who was a basketball star himself during college, wanted his son to see success in football and hence trained him to be a quarterback. Although Kellen has a registered height of 6’3″, he is not considered tall enough to play basketball with his father, who is 6’5″.

When he was nine years old, he participated in his first game of organized flag football in 2008 with the Longhorns in the Mays Family YMCA at Stone Oak league. After that, the young football player started to get noticed by many teams.

Mond became well-known after playing for the Longhorns for two seasons. The league’s finest club at the time, the Bears, was searching for a quarterback.

She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She is considered a versatile player with a registered height of 5’10”. 

Based on her LinkedIn profile, she is a student at Texas Southern University. Kiana enrolled in 2020 and will graduate in 2024. The Texas native is doing her Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance, and General with a GPA of 3.89. 

In addition, she is also a member of the Future Bankers Leadership Program in the Future Bankers Club. 

She was enrolled at Ronald Reagan High School between 2016 and 2020.
